Private Property Sales Association (PPSA) Introduction | Code of conduct | Why become a PPSA member | Become a member Code of Conduct It is a condition of membership that all members agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. 1.0    General 1.1    We will always act with integrity and honesty 1.2    We will respond to customer enquiries promptly and handle all complaints fairly and speedily. 1.3    We will respect all our customers’ confidentiality.      2.0    Marketing and Charging 2.1    We will ensure that all marketing material, advertisements, websites and terms and conditions are fair and reasonable and not misleading to the public. 2.2    All charges for a service or services  will be clearly displayed and the extent of those services will be made clear before a customer purchases the service or services. 2.3    Any additional charges payable after the initial payment  will be clearly indicated to the public at the outset. 3.0    Complaints Procedure 3.1   Complaints will be acknowledged within 5 working days and all complaints will be resolved in 4 weeks. 3.2      If a complaint is not resolved the complainant has the right to   refer the matter to the Chairman of the Private Property Sales Association who will act as an independent adjudicator.  We will comply with any request from the Chairman in this regard and will act in accordance with the decision reached. 4.0    Use of the Association's Logo 4.1    We agree to comply with the Association's rules  regarding the use of the Association's logo.  The logo will clearly be displayed on the homepage of our website. 5.0    Conflicts of Interest 5.1    We agree to avoid all potential conflicts of interest with the users of our website. 6.0    Privacy, Confidentiality and Security 6.1    We will not reveal information that identifies customers without their permission and shall take reasonable steps to prevent such information from being disclosed unintentionally. 6.2    We agree to comply with the requirements of the relevant Data Protection legislation. 6.3    All payments taken via the website will be transacted via a secure server.
